Travel: Tokyo Japan Trip Part 1

Hello everyone!! And woohoo!! Finally got to  blog about this trip! Hahaha! Always reading what other bloggers blog about their holidays and I've always wanted to do one myself too! So here is it~~ [There'll be 3 parts as I don't want to squeeze all pictures into 1 post or else it's gonna be super long XD]

DAY 1:

I'm so excited!! But our flight is at 11pm  and I don't really like midnight flight because I can't seem to fall asleep although I'm super tired!! :( In the end, I only get about less than 1hour of sleep? HAHAHA! Not kidding.

That's my breakfast in the plane btw!!

After reaching Nagoya Airport, meet our tour guide and all the stuff, we went to Asakusa Kannon Temple and Nakamise Shopping Street(they are side by side) which is our first stop of the trip! Not really interested in praying actually~ (I'm more interested in the food!!)

Sorry this picture is abit blur but I really love the bright colour!

We had our lunch at this restaurant. Though the interior and exterior look super pretty, their food is just mehh.... :/
Rating: 6.5/10

Bought this red bean bread thingy [¥100/SGD$1.20], matcha ice-cream [¥300/SGD$3.50] and dango [¥150/SGD$2]! Their snacks are super yummy! But quite expansive as well.... Hahah! Worth it though! (y)

Yummmmm~~

Btw, my #ootd for that day! ^^

Next, we went to the imperial palace. I think it's kinda useless as we only get to take picture from the outside/at the gate and it's like super far away from the palace.

But the surrounding is really damn pretty! Cuz they say it's near the palace so everything got to be pretty~~ HAHAHA! XD

After this, we stop by Tokyo Tower to snap afew picture with it! :)

Then, we went to Shinjuku Ginza. It is like our orchard road in Japan~ Hehe! All branded and expansive... I bought a mash outer wear from H&M and a tee shirt! Hahaha have to buy a tee shirt because although it's winter, there's still sun and it's kinda hot....

We end off our day at a buffet dinner at Yakiniku! Rating: 7/10 (not very wide varieties of food)

DAY 2:

It's Mount Fuji day!! The weather that day is super good so we're able to see the whole mountain! Our tour guide told us only 1/3 of the chance we're able to see it! :D

Our breakfast was settled in our hotel. Not bad! And I tried their fermented beans!! Hahaha (no offense) It taste like what others said: vomit. I thought I will like it cuz I have a unique taste bud.... Some Japanese may say this bean is awesome but it's just like us loving durians right? ^^

Otw there, we stop by a Japanese restaurant for lunch! Additionally, my mum ordered a "sashimi fish boat"[¥13000/SGD$160] because my family is a fan of sashimi! I swear it's super fresh! Even ppl like me dare to eat! (I don't like raw stuff) Rating: 9/10

Was wearing leather jacket before reaching Mt Fuji~

Upon reaching Mt.Fuji, we went to their museum!! It told us the history of it and we can buy some sovenior there! Although there's sovenior shop on the mountain too~~ ^^

Finally! We reached the 5th station of the mountain that is the highest place a car can travel! ^^ The temperature is -4*C. My family and I are all freezing as yesterday is kinda "hot" so we wear thinner clothes today....

We fight the cold and took lots of photo as I don't think we will come back to Japan so soon! :(

We bought kitkat, Mt Fuji bread and some corn!! I even buy their water that said to be from their melted ice!! :D

The bread that is shaped like Mount Fuji! Very soft! But I don't really like the cocoa powder on top as it's too thick.... (Bitter ><) but for photo effect, it's worth it~ :D

After this, we went to the second hotel we will be staying at! There's onsen facilities here~ :D When we went in, there's no one inside so we are super happy! (Cuz no clothes is allowed in the tub.... >< )

And they provide FREE ice-candy in their souvenir shop!!

I also get to wear a Japanese yukata because they provide it in their hotel!! I really love it~~ it's so pretty and the blue coat is super special!! We can keep things inside as the sleeve is very big!! :D

Taken at a garden near the hotel!

This hotel's dinner buffet is daebak! They do not have quantity but they have quality! I ate 5 cream puff.... ^^
Rating: 9/10

Okay! This is the end of my part 1 Japan trip!! I hope you enjoyed reading and do look out for the next 2 parts!! Will feature places like Sanrio PuroLand, Disney Land and Disney Sea!! :D BYE!!

Saizeriya Italian Restaurant [LXTS B'day celebration!]

Sup sup guys!! :D We are back again with a new post!! As you can see, this post is going to be about how we celebrate Sheryl's Birthday!! (WOOHOOO, BIRTHDAY SONG IN THE BACKGROUND YO *Quick! go wish her belated birthday* haha joking!) and its going to be a worth place to go to so lets start start start~~

Saizeriya Italian Restaurant is comfortable styled restaurant that is located at City Square Mall which are not only comfortable, but the food there is also really affordable. You must be thinking why Angelyn chose this place right? While that's because Sheryl pretty much like pizza and pasta so Angelyn decided why not go to a Italian restaurant since that's the place that sell all this kind of foods! :) Saizeriya Italian Restaurant do sell many Italian dishes that are not only going to make you want to eat more because it taste soo soo good, it is also at a super reasonable price. (Super worth it right after reading so far, we also think like that! haha :D)

Lunch Set that consist of
-Chicken Doria Baked Rice
-Salad
-Refillable drinks
Price: $6.90

The Chicken Doria Baked Rice is really tasty. We both loved the creamy cheese sauce that is on top of the rice which make it really nice tasting together with the rice when you eat. Although we think that the mince chicken on top together with the cheesey sauce is very minimum but it still taste really really good which we have no idea why haha :D (haha honest speaking what can you expect about the amount of the mince chicken they will give when it only costed liked $6.90 with salad and refillable drinks?? haha, that's what both of us think la XD)

The salad however was like normal salad we can find or make ourselves at home with some simple ingredients. However, Angelyn think that the sauce they give is abit too watery itself and it also abit more salty than usual but after all it is still appetizing eating it.

As for the drinks, you can see from the name given, and yesh! You guessed it! It is refillable and you can drink as many cup as you want!

Mushroom soup
Price: $2.90

Next, we ordered their mushroom soup which is their restaurant no.1. We can say it really deserve this no.1! The Mushroom soup is not the canned type we usually eat outside. Their mushroom soup is those where you can actually taste the mushrooms bits in it!! Which make it very worth to buy as it only costed $2.90. (OMG, We swear this a must eat when you visit okay!! :B)

5 inch Margherita Pizza
Price: $3.90

We also ordered their restaurant pizza which also the main spot light of the trip here because is Sheryl's favorite fooood. Both of us personally think it is really nice! this pizza we order taste like half bread and half pizza when mixed together it really tasted really really tasty. (and is OMG la if you all go and try, we both think you will have the same reaction with us haha XD) However, we also think that both of us should actually order the normal sized pizza instead cause their 5 inch is actually quite small so we suggest you guys to order the normal sized pizza if you are having them as your main course of the day la which only cost from $6.90-$7.90!! (Reasonable price isn't it? haha ^^~)

Butter Corn
Price: $2.90

Also we ordered butter corn cause Sheryl was still a bit hungry after all the eating so we order some light snacks too. We must said it is like any other corn we eat outside, nothing really special about it because we both are like those corn eater that like juicy type that when you eat, it will burst then got alot of juice one but sadly this one don't have la haha. So we suggest you only order it if you really still abit hungry after eating la. (Note: there is still alot more appetizer you can choose from!! so don't worry haha :P)

Squid Ink Spaghetti
Price: $5.90

Last but not least we also ordered their squid ink spaghetti because we wanted to try it as we never try before (HAHA what a reason ><) we can say it taste really good for us first time eating, the sauce and the noodle used is really nice and just right for us. To suggest too, we have to say try not to eat it when you are there dating cause it will make your mouth and teeth look quite black!:O ( Just letting you guys know la, cause hor who will want to have their teeth and mouth looking all black and unappealing to the person they are dating with ma! :B)

Overview: We both think this is really worth and must go place in your visiting list because where can you actually find a comfortable place that not only sell many tasty Italian foods that make your mouth watery and also at a super duper affordable price? We also think at the same time it is a good place for family gathering, dating, celebration, small meet up with friends and many more!! :D ^^ so go go go now~~

Private Screening Event of "Find The Wasabi"

Heyloo Guys! First of all it has been a long time since we blog ya? we know we know while that's partly because school has started and we are really really busy with school works. Which we want to apologize about it! (SORRY, *BOW-ing*) but we promise we will update as often as we can if possible!^^

So today we are back alive again with another blog post which is different from the previous blog post we have written. This blog post is going be about us introducing you guys a new TV program called "Find The Wasabi" or <<Wasabi 新体验>> in Chinese!

We are very honored to be invited  by Channel U as one of the blogger to go for the private screening event of "Find The Wasabi" on 8 February 2014, both of us are super excited for this event because it was our first time attending event like that. And also that mean that we have already watched the first two episodes of this brand new show, which we will give some seek peak of what it is about?

"Find The Wasabi" / <<Wasabi 新体验>> is a competition based reality TV series that is being filmed in Japan which the candidates included in the show are artist from different countries, one is  from our very own Singapore artist, Seraph Sun, secondly, from Thailand we have Instinct lead vocalist Palm and lastly, from Indonesia we have Shae!

During the show, all of them will have different mission given to them daily and will be ranked form the best one to the lousiest one. And as you know, the lousiest one will be punished and must complete the punishment given to them which they called the "Batsu Game"! (Trust us it is so funny watching them getting punishment, haha not that we are bad but if you watch you may also laugh when they are doing their punishment. XD So this is really a must watch show la!!)

The arrival of Seraph and DJ host Ivy! Seraph did a little introduction of herself and also elaborated more about the show!:)
After that we get to watch the first two episodes of "Find The Wasabi" / <<Wasabi 新体验>> and here a little seek peak of it yo!:D

For the first episode, it is more on introducing to you guys what this show is all about and also not forgetting introducing a short background of the candidates that participated in this show which they are known as the "Wasabi Hunters". Both of us already liked the first episode of the show already because it is not only fun to watch, we also get to know more about Japan at the same time! :B

For the second episode, it is actually the starting of their mission already. And their mission for this episode is to be a food gourmet on introducing Japan Favorited dish Ramen at the famous Ramen Museum in Japan. They are suppose to learn tricks from the famous food gourmet in Japan before the real competition start and the winner for this mission will be announced afterwards! (And we shall not reveal who the winners is, you should watch the show and find out! *smirk* haha XD)

After the show end, we all get to play game with Seraph and DJ host Ivy! Where Seraph will ask the participants a question concerning Japan show and those who asked correctly get a prize! However, those who answered wrongly must eat the wasabi sushi as their punishment but they will also get their prize after that. And Angelyn braving volunteered herself to play the game! :DD

When Angelyn first heard that the one who answered wrongly get to eat the wasabi sushi, she was like "OMG, pray hard that she will answer the question given to her correctly as she don't dare to eat wasabi >,<" Seraph asked her which animal skin is used to smooth wasabi out. 1)Snake 2)Crocodile 3)Shark and Angelyn answered the question correctly with the answer of Shark skin because she think that snake skin is too smooth and crocodile skin is too rough so the best one is shark. (haha, free knowledge from Angelyn *CLAP CLAPSSS*:B

Top: prize for quiz! Bottom: goodie bag from Channel U!
Shortly after the game, it has come to the end of the event and we then proceeded to the buffet session at Kuishinbo by the event organizer! :)

We took a group with everyone there as a memories before we go :D
And one selfie with Seraph!^^
And lastly one selfie with Ivy!:D

Kuishinbo

Kushinbo is nicely builded place for buffet with reasonable price(for the quality they served)! Not only is it nice and the food there are more than delicious and we both really liked it. We both do recommend you guys to come here to have buffet here if you are a fan of Japanese foods, having a date, gathering, family gathering! If you are not a Japanese foods lover while we must said, life is too short, go down and try it, you will never know after this you will become a Japanese foods lover afterward!
